LURA Managing Partner
Since 1985, Lura has dedicated herself to the sport of cheerleading. A former All-American cheerleader in high school, she attended the University of Maryland and was a three-year member and captain of the Terrapin Cheer squad. After graduating with a Communications degree, she worked with the National Cheerleaders Association and managed statewide after-school cheerleading programs, organized and coordinated cheer clinics and competitions, and choreographed routines for nationwide curriculums. Lura also served as captain of the NFL Baltimore Ravens' Cheerleaders and co-head coached the University of Maryland Spirit Squad for twelve years, leading the team to an NCA Collegiate championship in 1999. She became the coach for the University of Maryland Competitive Cheer team for four seasons and has recently returned to the Terps’ Competitive Cheer squad to Assistant Coach in addition to being a managing partner of EPIC Brands. As an owner of Spirit Unlimited, Lura is a founding member of the Battle at the Boardwalk Nationals series and a co-creator of the US Finals- The Final Destination, which is now the largest end-of-season cheer and dance competition in the world.
Tina Managing Partner
Tina’s involvement with cheerleading and dance transcends business; it is a passion that has been with her throughout her entire life. She began her journey taking her first dance lessons at age four, which lead her fourteen years later to the University of Maryland where she cheered for the Terrapins’ Co-ed Cheer squad. Her many spirit accolades included a five-year selection as National Cheerleaders Association Head Instructor, two-time High School and Collegiate All American nominee, and coach of the 1999 NCA National Champion Maryland All-Girl cheerleaders. She also had the honor of performing in the Opening Ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics. After celebrating twelve years as a Co-head Coach of the Terrapin cheer squad, she resigned to focus on her other role as the Director and Coach of the NFL’s World Champion-Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders, where she has now been coaching for thirteen years. As an owner of Spirit Unlimited, Tina is a founding member of the Battle at the Boardwalk Nationals series and a co-creator of the US Finals- The Final Destination, which is now the largest end-of-season cheer and dance competition in the world. She currently resides in Grasonville, MD with her husband John and daughter Gracie.
Tracy Managing Partner
Tracy began dancing at age three and traded in her dancing shoes to become a cheerleader in 1991. She holds a double degree in International Business Management and Spanish from the University of Maryland, where she was also a member of the Terrapin Co-Ed Cheerleading squad, earning a Collegiate All-American title. After college, Tracy became the assistant coach and later the head coach of the University of Maryland Cheerleading team in addition to dancing for the Washington Bullets for two years and the Washington Redskins for one year, where she earned top honors as a Pro Bowl cheerleader. She then became the dance coach for the NFL Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders for ten years and is now the Director of the Lil' Ravens Cheerleading program. As an original owner of Spirit Unlimited, Tracy is a founding member of Battle at the Boardwalk Nationals series and a co-creator of US Finals- The Final Destination, which is now the largest end-of-season cheer and dance competition in the world. Aside from her dedication to the spirit industry, she has a wonderful husband, an adorable Yorkie named Zeus, and a love for dining out, cycling, painting, and goofing off with amazing friends and family
Season Director of Guest Relations
Season has been cheerleading for thirteen years at the all-star and collegiate levels. She was a six-year member of the 2005 World Champion Maryland F5 Twisters, and a four-year member of the 4-time consecutive Collegiate National Champion University of Maryland Competitive Cheer squad. She was also nominated as a Collegiate All-American while at University of Maryland. After graduating with a degree in Elementary Education, Season has moved on to coach at the all-star level and is now the Sales Representative for the EPIC Brands!
Kerry Northeast Territory Guest Rep
Since 1999, Kerry has coached all ages and levels of cheerleading, in Pop Warner, American Youth Cheer, Rec, and All Stars Cheerleading, coaching teams to multiple national championships. She has held many cheer executive positions working with organizations and coaches across the country to educate and promote the sport of cheerleading. She has organized and managed dozens of cheerleading events around the United States each year, and enjoys working with all coaches and directors to make sure their teams have the best experience at all EPIC events.
Christy Director of Operations
Christy brings an extensive dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics background to the EPIC Brands. Along with her comprehensive business management background, she has worked or performed with many recreational, high schools, all-star and professional programs since 1979. She was the Assistant Director for the Lil' Ravens Cheerleading program for five years and retired in 2005 as a six-year member of the NFL Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders. Christy continues to coach cheerleading and dance on the All-Star level. Her accolades include receiving Ravens’ Cheerleader Rookie of the Year in 1999 and Unsung Hero in 2000. In addition to being the EPIC Brands’ Vice President, Christy is currently certified as a USASF Safety Judge, USASF Credentialed Coach (through Level 5), and holds an AACCA Safety Certification.
Kayla Event Coordinator
Kayla has been involved with dance for 18 years, performing, competing, and teaching. She started at a local program in Baltimore and succeeded to a competitive team throughout high school. Kayla then moved on to earn her BS in Business Administration, Marketing at Towson University. During that time she was elected captain of her collegiate dance troupe performing at TU football and basketball games, along with many other on and off campus events. As captain, she took on the responsibility of planning regular weekly rehearsals, community service activities, performances, and the annual showcase. She is thrilled to have found a career at The EPIC Brands that combines her passion for dance and planning experience!
Randi Scoring Director
Randie has been involved in cheerleading, dance, and gymnastics as an athlete for fifteen years, and sixteen years a coach, judge, keynote speaker for coaches conferences, scoring consultant, and choreographer for US Finals Champions. She holds degree's in Exercise Physiology, Sport Psychology, and Physical Education Teaching Pedagogy. Randie currently has the following safety certifications: USASF cheer safety, USASF dance safety, NFHS, AACCA, First Aid, AED, and CPR. She is a member of the All Star Scoring Committee and the USASF Rules Committee. Randie has transitioned from Dance All American to Worlds Judge, and now is the Scoring Director for The EPIC Brands. Outside of cheer she spends her time teaching at an elementary school and being active with her husband and children.
Brittany Staffing & Awards Manager
Brittany has been involved with Cheerleading for 13 + years at the Recreational, High School and College levels. She has coached both Rec and High School for a total of 6 years and earned the "Coach of the Year" award. During that time, she obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration with concentrations in Management and Hospitality from Marymount University in Arlington Virginia. After graduation, she join The EPIC Brands team as a Registration Coordinator.

Caroline Registration Coordinator
Caroline has been involved with cheerleading for 18 years. Throughout her All Star years she cheered all levels (1-6) for Cheer Thunder All Stars. In 2009 she was captain of her high school cheerleading squad, and name an All-County Athlete for cheerleading. She has also coached for 3 years for Cheer Thunder All Stars, then Mid Atlantic All Stars. She currently coaches’ tumbling at All Seasons Athletics. She graduated from Georgia Southern University, earning a Bachlors of Business Administration degree with a focus in Human Resource Management.
Becky Travel Coordinator for EPIC Events
This is Becky’s third year as a travel coordinator for ACDA and the EPIC Brands. Becky got most of her cheer background from being an experienced cheer mom, supporting her daughters while they were cheerleaders in high school. In addition to her full-time job, she volunteers with the CAUSE organization, which provides entertainment for the wounded warriors at Bethesda Naval Hospital. When not coordinating travel for the staff at EPIC, she enjoys staying active by biking, swimming and walking. She and her husband, Bill, have five grown children and two beagle dogs.

Karissa Creative Director
Karissa has been involved in cheerleading for 13 years at the all-star level. As a 3 time World Champion, she has cheered for the Maryland Twisters F5, where she was the captain of her team her senior year and a coach of the Maryland Twisters special needs teams. Karissa went off to attend Barry University in Miami, Florida where she earned her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with minor in graphic design and continued her cheerleading career in Florida at Top Gun all- stars.
Courtney Graphics Coordinator
Courtney has been involved in cheerleading for over twelve years. She cheered at the high school level, served as captain of the James Madison University Co-Ed Cheer squad, and continues her tenure now as a professional cheerleader in the NFL. She has also remained involved as an assistant coach for her high school cheer squad for the past five years. Courtney has a Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design from JMU and is responsible for EPIC’s Creative Design. When asked what Courtney is most looking forward to in her position, she responded, “I am extremely excited to have a job which combines my two favorite things, Cheerleading and Design!”
Rachel Graphics Coordinator
Rachel has been involved in all-star cheerleading for 13 years. She competed with Maryland Twisters, winning the 2009 World Championships with her team, Supercells. Starting as a helper at age 12, she went on to coach Eye of the Storm and Storm Chasers, serving as co-head coach and choreographer to both teams. While continuing to coach, Rachel attended Stevenson University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication Design. After graduating she joined the EPIC staff as a graphic designer and continues to coach both special needs team at Maryland Twisters.
Napoleon Director of Production
Napoleon has been involved in cheerleading as a coach and an athlete for twenty years. A graduate of the University of Maryland, he was a member of the Terps’ Co-Ed squad for three years before becoming Maryland All-Girl Cheer’s assistant coach for three years, helping them to a National Championship in 1999. Napoleon became a Co-Ed Stunt Team member of the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders for five years before serving as their coach, which gave him the opportunity to travel the world from Hawaii to Europe, Africa, and throughout the Middle East, including Iraq and Afghanistan. Napoleon also had the privilege of performing during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics as well as the Super Bowl. At EPIC, he is responsible for event planning as well as helping with production and enjoys being a professional photographer on the side! Melvin Production Coordinator
Worked for UCA for 13 years. Conducted cheerleading camps during the summer. Judged cheerleading competitions and tryouts in various areas. Worked cheerleading and dance competitions in Orlando, FL. Helped young people develop building skills Taught participants to enjoy learning as an individual, as well as, to be a team player.Spokesman for Cheerleaders at the Student Athletic Board in College
Robert Inventory Specialist Manager
Prior to going the EPIC Family, Robert worked as a property manager for 6 years. When asked, Robert will quickly tell you that his drive, leadership, discipline and people skills are a direct result of being a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He credits the 4 years he spent as Bethune Cookman's mascot, Wylie D Kat for his love and appreciation for all things cheer. When Robert is not working at Epic, he is spending quality time with his wife Chantel and children Jazmin, Dante, Julian and Raiya.
Tina received her associates at Anne Arundel Community college in Business Administration. She receive her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Towson University and is responsible for the accounting for Epic. In her free time she love spending time with her husband and her two kids.
Surfy is a rare, one of a kind species “Prionace Glauca-Spiritus”, a great blue shark displaying an abnormally high amount of cheerfulness and spirited energy! He began cheering at age ten, for the Lagoon Recreation program. Five years later, He joined the Surf-Zone All Stars. During this time, he was also an elite member of the Bay Area Varsity Squad and helped to to lead my team to back-to-back Ocean titles in 2005 and 2006 . After graduating from high school, he majored in Marine Biology at Under the Sea University, where he was named MVP Cheerleader for a consecutive, four year period. Surfy's superior underwater tumbling skills, phenomenal stunting ability and incredible crowd appeal is what earned him the title. From 2006-2009, he became a four-time National Grand Champion in the Individual Blue Shark Division at Reach the Beach Nationals. During that same time, USU placed in the top three in the large coed division. In 2009, he created, choreographed and coached the nationally-ranked Atlantis Champion All-Stars. Since its creation, the organization has won an astounding 32 national titles and over 50 championship titles, including many Reach the Beach National titles and the Maryland Cup Championship titles, plus nearly 100 other first place finishes.
