Live Full Out | Sara Hancock

During the month of February, our social media director Sara had the chance to travel overseas for work. But she wasn’t travelling with us. Sara and 11 of her (Baltimore Ravens Cheerleader) teammates had a once in a lifetime chance to work with Armed Forces Entertainment to visit troops overseas. The 10 day trip took them to Bahrain in the Middle East and Djibouti, Africa. During their trip they visited numerous military bases while performing for the troops. When we asked Sara what her favorite part of the trip was, she said “everything.” She added, “Although I did enjoy performing and getting to see all the different weapons, ships, aircraft, and military bases, my favorite part was the conversation and interaction that we had with the troops. Their stories are just as amazing as they are. We would have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with them and would sit at the table talking to them until we were pulled away for our next appearance. Just having the opportunity to connect with these remarkable men and women and leave with a bunch of new friends is something that I will be forever thankful for.”
